Dallas Concrete Flat Work & Stamped Concrete - Patios, Porches, Driveways & Sidewalks

McFall is experienced with stamped concrete and colored concrete driveway installations. As one of the area's most experienced decorative concrete contractors, we provide concrete restoration, the removal of old, damaged concrete and/or the installation of new concrete. A decorative concrete porch can be part of a stunning entryway to a residence. Steps can feature stamped concrete, and raised flowerbeds can be tooled to match the flatwork's stamped pattern. We can replace your old concrete driveway, or we can help you design a new driveway that will complement your landscaping and offer a wide selection of colors and stamp designs.

Anyone can claim to be a contractor and pour concrete, but it's important to be aware of the preparation involved, proper soil preparation, and the moisture content of the soil. Rebar must be used in North Texas, no exceptions. We always use a minimum of 4" thickness for all regular concrete slabs, utilize only top-of-the-line products, and have been pouring concrete for 30 years. Our pricing will comfortably fit within your household budget!

McFall Masonry & Construction is deeply experienced in all phases of concrete flat work, decorative concrete solutions, and stamped and colored concrete design. Whether you need a brand-new driveway or you're searching for concrete resurfacing to restore an existing surface, our team handles it all. From everyday ordinary concrete to the creation of "one-of-a-kind" structures, we'll go above and beyond to ensure you're 100% satisfied with your project.

Everything You Need to Know About Stamped Concrete in Dallas

How much would a 20x20 stamped concrete patio cost?

A 20x20 (400 sq ft) stamped concrete patio typically costs between $3,200 and $8,000 or more, depending on the pattern, color, and site preparation involved. Because pricing is calculated per square foot and varies by project specifics, McFall Masonry & Construction provides a free, detailed estimate for an accurate number.

What is the downside of stamped concrete?

Stamped concrete can be prone to cracking if it isn't installed with proper reinforcement, thickness, and soil preparation, and it typically needs resealing every few years to maintain its color and protection. It can also cost more upfront than plain concrete, though it remains more affordable than natural stone or pavers.

Is it cheaper to do stamped concrete or pavers?

Stamped concrete is generally less expensive to install than brick or stone pavers, since it's poured and textured in one continuous process rather than laid piece by piece. Pavers, however, can be easier and cheaper to repair, since individual units can be replaced without disturbing the rest of the surface.

What is the average cost of a stamped concrete driveway?

A stamped concrete driveway typically costs between $8 and $18 per square foot installed, depending on pattern complexity, color, and site conditions. For an average two-car driveway, that usually works out to a total cost in the range of $4,000 to $12,000 or more.

How does Texas weather affect the durability of stamped concrete?

North Texas's expansive clay soil and extreme temperature swings can cause cracking if a slab isn't properly reinforced, which is why McFall Masonry & Construction always uses rebar and a minimum 4-inch thickness on every pour. When installed and sealed correctly, stamped concrete holds up well against Texas heat and stands the test of time.

Leslie Kimbrell from Rowlett, TX's Rating
"I wanted to take a moment and tell you how happy we are with the beautiful stone retaining wall that you recently completed on our property. You have taken a very bad railroad tie retaining wall and replaced it with an incredible stone wall that has turned our home into a work of art. I could not have asked for more.

Your crew did an outstanding job. Every one of them was professional, courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable in their work. They kept working in the hottest of temperatures and every day cleaned the area completely. What a great crew you have! It is very hard, in today's world, to find companies that have strong ethics, morals and the desire to do the job right. I was very fortunate to find all of those qualities in McFall Masonry. Thank you again and I will be more than happy to recommend your company to anyone in need of beautiful stone work."

"I met Dan McFall when I was interviewing contractors to find someone to build a stone wall in front of my house. This was no small project and the way the wall would look was as important as how well the wall was built. Dan immediately exhibited a superior knowledge to the other contractors I talked with, and he got the job.
From the beginning, Dan communicated with me about his every move involving my wall. He and his crew showed up bright and early every day, and worked long hours. They were neat, courteous and considerate. Above all, they knew what they were doing and obviously cared about the final outcome of the project. Dan McFall is a craftsman from another time. You would do well to hire him if you have a project within his area of expertise."
